WandaVision wraps up production. The upcoming Marvel Studios series for Disney+ will see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their respective roles as star-crossed lovers Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Black Widow screenwriter Jac Schaeffer will serve as its showrunner with additional cast members such as Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as grown-up Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo and Kathryn Hahn in an unknown role. Plot specifics for WandaVision have been tightly under wraps, but production started a while back with set photos popping online giving fans a look at some of the characters and set pieces for the film....

Microsoft is taking on Apple’s own camera app with an iOS app it claims is smarter. Microsoft Pix has no user controls, but is instead controlled by AI software, which attempts to work out what you are photographing and automatically adjust the settings to give the best results. It also automatically enhances your photos, and shows you the before-and-after to allow you to pick the version you prefer. TNW and Recode have been testing it, and both seem impressed....

Morbius star Jared Leto posted a short video clip to Instagram to tease the start of filming in London. The Spider-Man spinoff starring Leto as the titular “living vampire” recently received a 2020 release date from Sony. Doctor Who’s Matt Smith will join Leto in an as-yet-undisclosed major role. The character of Morbius, a brilliant scientist who turns himself into a vampire while trying to cure himself of a rare blood disorder, first appeared as a villain in The Amazing Spider-Man comic book way back in 1971, then later went on to become an anti-heroic vigilante in his own series of books and in pairings with various other Marvel characters including Blade, Doctor Strange and Ghost Rider....
