Microsoft is rolling out a new version of its Outlook app for iPhone and iPad that brings it to version 4.36. The update includes a new “Ignore Conversation” feature that will likely prove to be very useful for many users. The Ignore Conversation feature has been available in the Outlook application on other platforms for a while, but only today is it coming to iPhone and iPad. The feature makes it easier to completely remove an email thread from your inbox — such as for a company-wide email....

The Australian energy giant said the proposal, which was received on Saturday, 19 January 2022, “materially undervalues” the company and would not be in the “best interests” of shareholders. Under the unsolicited proposal, which was put forward by a consortium led by Brookfield and included Grok Ventures, Cannon-Brookes’ private investment company, AGL Energy was being offered AU$7.50 per share. With the help of a light Open Source app called EdgeDeflector, you can redirect Cortana to use your default browser instead of Edge. Assuming you don’t want to use Edge as the default web browser in Windows 10, the first thing to do is change it to something else like Chrome or Firefox. These are preview versions of the new-style of Office apps and are available for Windows 10 Technical Preview build 9926 which includes the new Windows Store beta. The easiest way I was able to find them was search for “office preview” rather than each app by name. There was an issue earlier today though, it seems people were finding it difficult to actually download the apps. Microsoft acknowledged the problem and says it’s working on a fix at 10:30 this morning....
