The first trailer for Morbius revealed that the Sony production is tied to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will take place the furthest in the future of any project. The solo film, starring Jared Leto as Morbius the Living Vampire, surprised audiences in a big way with the start of its marketing campaign. Not only did the first Morbius trailer include references to Spider-Man being a murderer, but Michael Keaton’s Vulture made a cameo at the very end, removing any doubt over Morbius’ ties to the MCU....

Michael Hawley – whose many achievements included helping Steve Jobs write his famous ‘stay hungry, stay foolish’ commencement speech – has died from cancer, aged 58 … As the New York Times notes, he was one of the conceptual pioneers of the Internet of Things, which forms the basis of smart home tech. Michael Hawley shared a house with Steve, and spent six years at NeXT. After helping to write Steve’s speech, he later did the same for Google co-founder Larry Page, who delivered the commencement address at the University of Michigan....

Writer Tom King has been teasing his fans about the mystery co-lead of the upcoming Strange Adventures maxiseries from DC Comics, but the truth is out thanks to series artist Mitch Gerads. On Wednesday, King teased the Strange Adventures co-star in the form of pages pulled directly from the final issue of Heroes in Crisis, implying that one of the thirty-five characters was the top secret character set to join Adam Strange in Strange Adventures series....

Interestingly, Tim Cook, COO of Apple, mentioned yesterday that Apple was open to exploring other models of iPhone distribution – rather than stick to their locked model....

With the lower-cost iPhone supposedly already in production, in time for launch later this year, the likelihood of parts leaking can only increase. Earlier today, iPhone5skopen posted images of supposed front panels for the cheaper device. As shown by previous leaks, the faceplate is almost identical to an iPhone 5 with a plastic body being the main differentiating factor in the product lineup. Now, Chinese site IT168 has posted pictures of supposed camera modules for this device (via MacRumors)....

Just days after the Senate Commerce Committee chairman demanded additional information from Apple regarding slowing down older iPhones, four additional U.S. House Republicans have also sent a letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook concerning the issue… As reported by Reuters, among those who signed the letter is Greg Walden, chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. While the specific content of the letter is not disclosed, it is targeted towards Tim Cook and seeks information about the “disclosure” that Apple “slowed older iPhone with flagging batteries....

Relationships in the Marvel Cinematic Universe might not be the focus of the movies, but they still play an important role. Many of the characters have had significant others at one point or another in the series but many of the supporting characters have not. One fan-favorite character that hasn’t had any canon romances in the MCU so far is Bucky Barnes. While he has been romantically linked to characters in the comics, this was never featured in the MCU although this isn’t completely out of the question to happen in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier....

The lawsuit is the first of its kind as Meta, formerly known as Facebook, had previously never faced criminal charges. The circumstances behind this lawsuit are also uncommon as it is a criminal proceeding arising from a private individual suing a corporation. Due to these circumstances, Forrest needed to get the approval of Commonwealth Attorney-General Michaelia Cash before he could go ahead with the lawsuit. The attorney general has been contacted for comment....
