The long-awaited live-action Mega Man movie has found a new writer in The Batman co-writer Matt Tomlin. There have been rumors of a Mega Man movie kicking around Hollywood since at least 2015 and as recently as 2017, but with a new writer attached it looks like development on the project has moved another inch forward. Now that the dust has settled in the wake of Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox (and all its properties) it seems the project might finally see the light of day....

While CurrentC consortium MCX’s contracts state that members cannot accept competing forms of mobile payment, Midwest grocery chain Meijer appears to be the first member to break ranks by continuing to allow NFC payment – including Apple Pay. A few weeks ago, the boys up in Redmond released a big update for “Office for Mac 2011” that features a load of fixes and new features. However, Microsoft made the move of pulling Service Pack 2 from Auto Update today while it works to find a fix. According to Microsoft, only a small percentage of users are experiencing issues, specifically with the Outlook for Mac database. Google announced today on its Chrome blog that Major League Baseball is adding support for its $35 Chromecast streaming stick through the MLB At Bat app for Android and iOS. That means that users with the app and an MLB.TV Premium subscription will be able to stream live and on-demand video content from the app (or from a browser tab in Chrome through MLB’s site) to a Chromecast connected TV. Mailbox, the iOS email app recently acquired by Dropbox, was updated with a few new features today.
