Before Madison Prewett was the woman Peter Weber is falling in love with on The Bachelor, she was a proud winner of The Price Is Right. In 2018, Madison competed on the popular game show and walked away with a pretty significant prize.
Though she disappeared for half the season on The Bachelor, Madison did receive the first one-on-one date of Peter’s season all those weeks ago. During that first getaway, Madison met all of Peter’s family at his parent’s vow renewal, easily establishing herself as a front runner of the season. Drama emerged and Madison faded to the background for a few weeks, but she’s appeared again the last few episodes, this time as the woman Peter loves. Yes, you heard that right - the Bachelor said that he loved her in Monday night’s episode. However, Madison’s story from this point on is sure to be plagued with drama. Viewers found out last week that she’s a virgin saving herself for marriage, a decision she hasn’t yet shared with Peter. Bachelor drama aside, however, Madison is no stranger to the world of TV.
In 2018, Madison competed on the popular game show, The Price Is Right. While she had the chance to win $16,000 total, Madison walked away with a cool $8,000 in her pocket. According to AL.com, Madison purchased the tickets last minute alongside her mother during a trip to California. Although they initially meant to attend the 9 am show, they arrived late and had to wait for the 1 pm time slot. To her surprise, Madison was called onto the stage. After winning the initial round, she had to play “Put it in the Bag,” where she was forced to match grocery items to the correct price. Since she could stop anytime and leave with her money, Madison decided to walk away when she earned $8,000, check out the video she posted of herself on The Price is Right in the post below:
A graduate of Auburn University, Madison has been open about the large role that God plays in her life. After winning the money, she said she wanted to save most of it and was still thinking and praying about what to do. That commitment to her religious beliefs has also shown through in her relationship with Peter. During their second one-on-one date, Madison stated that she wanted a husband who could lead her family in faith since her faith was the most important thing in the world to her. Though Peter admitted that his faith isn’t as strong as hers, he didn’t seem at all deterred by her strong religious beliefs.
Though it sounds like it was quite the serendipitous experience, Madison’s appearance on The Price Is Right is amusing considering her current position as a contestant on The Bachelor. Maybe she was always meant to be a TV star. Whatever the case may be, she certainly has a few challenges awaiting her on this season. Hopefully, she can be as lucky in love as she was to win $8,000.
