What is Magisk?

If you have stumbled upon this post, then you for sure are aware of what Magisk is. Still, for our friends who are unaware of this term, Magisk is a systemless framework that is used as an alternative to Chainfire’s SuperSu.

Why use Magisk?

Because Magisk offers a few advantages more than traditional SuperSu, but rooting is not the only thing it is limited to. As of now, there are a plethora of modules developed by developers around the world that are based on Magisk framework and have also made it an alternative to Xposed Framework.

The purpose of this post is to list some Magisk modules compatible with OnePlus 3T running on Oxygen OS 4.0. These modules can possibly work with other devices as well, but they are sure compatible with the OnePlus 3T.

Google Pixel Launcher v1

This module installs Pixel Launcher 7.1.1. The module also installs the wallpaper app backported to Android 6.0+ by @Pranav Pandey. You can use this download link.

Google Pixel Sound Set v1

This module replaces the stock UI sounds of the OnePlus with the UI sounds from the Google Pixel. Additional replacements include the alarms, notifications, and ringtones from the Pixel. You can use this download link.

Google Dialer

This module installs the Google Dialer along with the framework required for functionalities such as Caller ID and Lookup. You may have to manually disable the OnePlus Dialer and set the Google Dialer as the default phone app. – You can use this download link.

Google Assistant

This module enables Google Assistant. You’ll need an updated Google app to use it. You can use this download link.

Google Daydream VR

The module enables Google Daydream VR. You can use this download link.

Google DNS

This module switches the default DNS to Google’s, thus in theory, this helps in improving the data speed on your device. You can use this download link.

Chrome Home Page

This module will enable the home button in Chrome, and an option to set a default home page in Chrome’s Settings. You can use this download link.

SELinux Display

This module allows the SELinux status (Enforcing or Permissive) to be visible under Settings > About Phone. You can use this download link.

EmojiOne Replacer

This module swaps the default emoji set from OnePlus with the ones from EmojiOne which is an open standard for Emojis. You can use this download link.

PhaseBeam Live Wallpaper

This module adds the PhaseBeam live wallpaper created by CM, which has options to configure its color. You can use this download link.

ViPER4Android FX 2.3.4.0 (Super High Quality) with Dolby Atmos 6.5 v1.0

This module installs Viper4Android along with Dolby Atmos 6.5 Sound module. You can use this download here.

APT-X HD Codec

This module adds codecs and enables APT-X HD for Bluetooth headsets that support APT-X and/or APT-X HD. APT-X is a Qualcomm owned family of proprietary audio codec compression algorithms. This codec does NOT work with OxygenOS Open Beta 3 or OxygenOS 4.1.0, aka Android Nougat 7.1.1. You can use this download link.

Snapdragon Camera

This module installs the Snapdragon Camera compiled by @nvertigo67. You will need to grant all the permissions for the camera, storage and mic for the app to work. You can use this download link.

Stereo Speakers and Mic Gain

This module is created by @magura320. The module allows the earphone to be used as a speaker and mods the microphone pickup when recording video. You can download it from here.

Extended Volume Steps

This module increases the media volume by 30 steps, and the call volume by 15 steps. You can download this module from here.
