Marvel Studios Drops New “Loki” Trailer
Marvel tweeted out the new trailer today which you can view below. Loki is set to debut exclusively on Disney Plus on June 11th.
— Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) April 5, 2021 This is the first new look at the show after we saw the exclusive Disney Plus clip for the show in February. Loki takes place following the events of Avengers: Endgame. In the new trailer, we see that Loki has been taken prisoner by the Time Variance Authority (TVA). He is recruited by the TVA leader, Mobius, to help fix the broken timeline. While the trailer shows what appears to be a “buddy cop” style show, there will undoubtedly be several twists and turns along the way. It will undoubtedly set up more mind-bending time travel action, too. Loki is positioned to follow other Marvel shows including WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Solider. Loki is also set to air following the long-delayed Black Widow theatrical release. Black Widow will premiere in both movie theaters and on Disney Plus (for an extra rental fee) on July 9th.
