Netflix is without debate home for high-quality Marvel live-action programming. The trend began with the huge sleeper hit Daredevil series and soon followed with other well-received shows like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.
The annual Super Bowl for toy collectors, the New York Toy Fair, blew through the Big Apple last week bringing with it countless new toy reveals for the hordes of anxious fans. Screen Rant has already covered some exciting new Marvel Legends offerings, but on the first official day of the show Hasbro also revealed new figures based on Jessica Jones and the second season of Daredevil.
The new Marvel Legends figures that were featured include season two costume Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Elektra (Elodie Yung), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and the Punisher (Jon Bernthal). The Punisher is due, of course, for his own standalone Netflix series later this year and we’re soon going to see Daredevil and Jessica Jones in the team-up series The Defenders, along with Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). If you don’t know who Iron Fist is, don’t fret, the first season of his series is about to premiere on March 17. Check out images of the figures in the gallery below:

These figures appear to be a great likeness, perhaps with the exception of the Jessica Jones head sculpt, and it’s only a matter of time before collectors are calling for little plastic likenesses of the other Netflix Marvel Universe heroes like Luke Cage and Iron Fist, along with outstanding villains like Daredevil’s foe Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), Jessica Jones baddie Kilgrave (David Tennant) and Luke Cage nemesis Cottonmouth (Mahershala Ali). If this first set of dedicated figures sells well, then the sky is the limit for fans of the Netflix MCU.
The Defenders, Iron Fist and The Punisher are the upcoming series slated for Netflix, along with more seasons of past series like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. There is no word on further series to be added, but The Defenders and Iron Fist series will no doubt yield some new characters worthy of an action figure.
This figure selection is a great start to the Marvel Legends Netflix offerings, but the ultimate crossover character in all of the Netflix Marvel series, as fans are well aware, is Nurse Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson). It’s unknown how far into each series Hasbro wants to delve, but it wouldn’t be surprising if fans were treated to several waves of the heroes and villains, as well as variants based on different costumes and clothed vs unclothed versions of the heroes. Hopefully many more waves are to come in this line.
There is no release date yet announced for the Marvel Legends Netflix figures.
Daredevil Season 1 and 2, Jessica Jones Season 1, and Luke Cage Season 1 are now available on Netflix. Iron Fist will premiere on March 17, 2017. The Defenders will arrive this summer with The Punisher coming later in the year. Premiere dates for the newest seasons of Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and Luke Cage have not yet been announced.
