New Eternals movie set photos provide the first look at Kit Harington’s Black Knight, but only in civilian clothes. Marvel Studios is making steady progress on Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with multiple productions on movies and Disney+ shows underway. At the moment, Chloé Zhao’s Eternals is the only upcoming MCU movie that is currently filming. Even though the main characters of the film may not be widely known right now, Marvel gave the movie immense star power to get fans excited.

The large and diverse ensemble of Eternals features major Hollywood stars like Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek, but Thena and Ajak are not going to be the main characters of the film. Richard Madden’s Ikaris is believed to be one of the main characters, with Gemma Chan’s Sersi also receiving a large role. She has been a constant in Eternals set photos, but one actor fans have been waiting to see filming is Game of Thrones star Kit Harington.

Thanks to the latest Eternals set photos shared by BRMarvelNews, Harington can finally be seen on the set of the Marvel production. Harington is playing Black Knight in the film, but here he’s only in Dane Whitman’s civilian attire. He’s shown with Chan’s Sersi, in what appears to be the present day, as the two walk and talk. Unfortunately, it is not known what the pair are discussing.

These photos may not reveal Harington in the Black Knight suit, but Dane being with Sersi could indicate the MCU will explore their comic romance. Dane and Sersi were romantically involved during their shared time as members of the Avengers. It didn’t end well for either them, but Eternals could still establish the relationship in this film and deal with any potential fallout in the sequels. Of course, it’s also possible that Sersi and Dane won’t be linked romantically in Eternals and this is simply two potential Avengers interacting.

As production on Eternals continues, there is a chance that future set photos could reveal Black Knight’s actual suit. There has so far been no confirmation it will be featured in the film, but that hasn’t stopped people from making excellent concept treatments. Perhaps the reason Dane isn’t in his traditional costume though is that he hasn’t yet become the Black Knight. With a November release date attached to Eternals, it will only be a matter of time before more official information is released.
