The character roster for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has been expanded in unexpected fashion. A pair of licensed t-shirts have given away a few popular heroes that have yet to be announced.

The Nintendo Switch exclusive is one of the most hotly-anticipated games of the year. A full decade has passed since Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 and fans have clamored for a new entry since (Marvel’s exploding mainstream popularity during that time helped too). Team Ninja sits behind the development wheel to apply their action expertise to improve the series’ isometric RPG gameplay, and the game, which is currently the cover game for Game Informer, arrives this summer. Marvel has dropped several new characters in recent weeks, though this latest reveal probably shouldn’t have gone down this way.

According to Game Rant, Marvel shared two official Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 t-shirts on social media that feature three unrevealed characters: Ant-Man, Elektra, and Vision. As seen in the artwork below, Ant-Man sports an identical look to his Paul Rudd-portrayed MCU incarnation and appears to be in his Giant-Man form. Longtime Avenger Vision sits tucked away behind Hawkeye, and the other shirt shows off the assassin Elektra appropriately fighting alongside her on-again, off-again beau, Daredevil. Given that the game rewards assembling familiar team-ups, neither hero is particularly shocking due to the previous confirmation of Matt Murdock, as well as Ant-Man’s partner, Wasp.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order draws strength from a deep hero pool, so it’s exciting to see these favorites all but confirmed. The game looks like it’s shaping up to be the superhero smorgasbord that fans have come to expect. If this becomes a trend, hopefully future merchandise reveals include characters like the Fantastic Four, Valkyrie, and Moon Knight.
