In an age where developers seem to be abandoning Apple Watch apps left and right, Microsoft of all companies is soon launching its popular Authenticator application for watchOS.
The company says that Authenticator will be launching on Apple Watch within the next few weeks. With a public preview program available through TestFlight.
Unlike standard app-based authentication, which typically requires typing in a 6-digit code, Microsoft simply uses an approve/decline method. With Apple Watch support, users will simply just need to tap the “approve” button right on the Apple Watch notification.
