For three consecutive years, Marvel Studios has managed to release three new Marvel Cinematic Universe films a year. Beginning with their 2017 slate, Marvel Studios managed to increase from their usual annual output of two titles a year by 50%. It’s a consistent feat that will become briefly interrupted in the new year of 2020 thanks to behind-the-scenes issues on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. This means Marvel Studios will be releasing only two titles in 2020, starting with the May 2020 feature Black Widow from director Cate Shortland, and then the November 2020 title Eternals from director Chloe Zhao....
