Bad Boys for Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have met with Marvel Studios, but not to discuss a specific movie or TV project. The filmmaking pair have quickly made a name for themselves thanks to their Bad Boys sequel. Despite the low expectations surrounding the movie (a mid-January release that took nearly seventeen years to come together), Bad Boys for Life wound up earning surprisingly positive reviews from critics....

Marvel Studios should finally bring the Secret Invasion comic arc to the MCU as a TV show, not a movie. Secret Invasion was one of Marvel’s most popular comic book events, with Earth almost conquered by the shapeshifting aliens known as the Skrulls. The warlike aliens had successfully infiltrated Earth’s defenses, ranging from SHIELD to the Avengers, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. In a sense, it’s strange that it took Marvel so long to come up with a Secret Invasion plot....

Facebook launched Messenger Kids back in 2017, with the aim of allowing parents to ensure that their children aren’t put at risk of inappropriate contact or bullying. The company today says that it is expanding the parental monitoring tools to provide parents with a better understanding of how their kids are using the app… The app originally offered four protections: The account needed to be created by the parent, not the child Parents had to pre-approve all contacts Either kids or parents could block a contact at any time If the child blocked a contact, the parent was notified so they could get the story The app last year suffered an embarrassing failure when it allowed kids to communicate with unapproved contacts in group chats....

Microsoft has acquired the Sunrise calendar application in a deal worth over $100 million, a report revealed today. The buyout may be the next step in the company’s plans to revamp its mobile offerings, which started with the release of the new Outlook email app—also based on acquired software—last month. Like Acompli, Sunrise works with a variety of services, not just Microsoft’s. Those services include Google’s calendar service, iCloud calendars, and, of course, Exchange....

Although there are still many doubts about the iPhone 8 rumored design, mocked up above, a new schematic has surfaced on Weibo today.
